Loneliness and Disconnection in the Workplace

Why peer support belongs in your mental health strategy

Loneliness and a lack of social connection are growing concerns in the workplace. These concerns were the focus of U.S Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy’s Surgeon General Advisory and report on the “Epidemic of Loneliness and Isolation” in May 2023. The report shared that about 50% of American adults reported experiencing measurable levels of loneliness. It also shed light on the significant impacts of loneliness on both our mental and physical health.

To address these concerns, employers are looking at a variety of ways – including peer support - to foster connection as part of their employee wellbeing and mental health strategies. This is why Canopy has partnered with Togetherall to bring a safe and integrated digital peer-to-peer community to our organizational partners.

Join us for a discussion on:
The importance of connection and community in regaining and maintaining good employee mental health.

The essential role peer support plays in an employer mental health strategy including the potential costs and consequences of not including it.

The impact and efficacy of Togetherall’s online peer-to-peer community.

How Togetherall integrates into Canopy’s clinical services and model.

The discussion will feature:
Anna Meiners, Vice President, Customer Success, Canopy
Dr. Ben Locke, Chief Clinical Officer, Togetherall
Nicole Misura, Senior Vice President, Togetherall
